Send a document via QR code
If you've ever been stuck at a computer trying to figure out how to get a document from your phone onto it, a QR code transfer is the fastest path. You don't sign in anywhere. You don't install anything.
Open xprinty.com on the computer that needs the document. Click Send a document. A QR code appears. Point your phone camera at it. Tap the link your phone shows. Pick a PDF or photo. Wait a few seconds.
The document is now on the computer. Print it or save it. Click I'm done when you're done. The file gets deleted right then. Even if you forget, it goes away 15 minutes after upload.
Common questions
- Does the document leave my phone?
- Yes. The phone uploads it. The computer downloads it. After 15 minutes the file is gone from our side.
- Will the next person on the computer see my document?
- No. As soon as you click I'm done, the file gets deleted. If you don't click anything, it deletes 15 minutes after upload.
- Is there a size limit?
- 25 MB per file. Big enough for most contracts, boarding passes, and photos.
